This garden was typical of that on a a new build housing estate. It was the clients wishes to maximise their garden space for both the adults and their children. The garden was situated on a severe slope and the clients requested levelled surfaces. Green Acorn Landscape Design used this opportunity to create two separate sections to the garden and brought about a two tier approach. The top section enabled the adults to entertain and relax on their patio, whilst the children had the lower space in which to play and run off their energy!
In order to connect both sections of the garden, Green Acorn Landscape designed and built a bespoke set of white steps that not only led from the top tier to the bottom tier but that also ran through to the bi-folding doors of the home.
Due to the clients having a young family, a bespoke glass balustrade was installed which not only maximised the safety of the children but also brought about a beautiful feature to the garden, defining both areas and allowing the clients a full view of the lower garden.
Raised planters were installed to bring about depth and dimension and were filled with Photinia Pleach trees to bring about privacy in their over looked garden.
An outdoor gas fire was installed in the top patio area allowing the clients to relax and entertain around it.
