Project Requirements
Our clients had a sloped garden, where the existing landscape was angled and the requirement was to make it level and more user friendly. Two new seating areas were also part of the brief to allow our clients to make more use of different areas of the garden that were previously unused.
Along with the seating areas, our clients also added some raised planters to give the garden some life and also to keep maintenance to a minimum. They wished to have a shed for storage and a screen to give the garden some privacy.
Garden Design Detail Work
The first stage of this project was to come up with a design for the new layout, which would incorporate the specific features our clients requested.
Once the design was approved, our landscape gardeners moved on to the build. We first had to dig the out the ground levels and put in foundations for the retaining walls and steps, which would accommodate the different levels in the garden. A sub-base material was installed, as well as the ducting for underground services for the garden lighting.
With the base layers prepared and installed, our team began the paving and cladding of the patio areas and walls to ensure a modern, uniform appearance across the new garden. A cladding was also installed on the existing fence to make it match the garden design.
Garden lighting was installed throughout the make the space usable and accessible at all hours of the day.
Finally, we installed an artificial lawn to accommodate our client’s low-maintenance requirements, and grouted the floors and walls to finish.

Outcome
The clients were thrilled with their new garden, as they now had space to host events with loved ones. Their new garden has given them the perfect environment to make happy family memories for years to come.
