Project Requirements
For this garden landscaping project in Warrington, Green Acorn Landscape Design was asked to transform the existing garden into a modern, practical outdoor space.
The garden design included new porcelain paving, resin pathways and raised planting areas, along with improved access to the lower lawn. We also incorporated the garden’s existing water feature into the new layout, bringing together contemporary materials and existing features.
Rustic Porcelain Paving Patio
We started by excavating the garden and laying concrete foundations to prepare the ground for the new landscaping.
We then built retaining walls using concrete blocks to create raised planting areas and separate sections of the garden. The walls were finished with porcelain cladding to match the new paving and give the space a neat, modern look.
To create a practical and attractive patio, our team installed rustic porcelain paving to give the homeowners a space to relax and enjoy their garden.
Resin Pathways
We also laid resin pathways throughout the garden, using Corten steel edging to create neat borders between the different areas. The mix of porcelain and resin adds texture to the garden while keeping the overall design looking consistent.
To make it easier to move between the different levels, we built new steps leading down to the lower lawn area.
As part of this garden landscaping project, we installed a new ACO drainage system to help manage surface water and protect the newly paved areas.
We also restored the existing water feature, keeping it as part of the new garden design. This adds character to the space and complements the new paving, pathways and raised planters.
