The Green Acorn team received the unique opportunity to transform a “Secret Garden” into a luxurious and functional outdoor living space. The clients envisioned a space that catered to both their children and their dog, while also offering year-round usability.

Their wish list included a safe water feature, an outdoor kitchen perfect for entertaining, and a cosy fire pit for chillier evenings.

Notably, they desired to retain a beloved element of the original garden – a stunning wisteria-draped pergola.

Private Garden Design Process

To meet these multifaceted needs, our team strategically divided the garden into distinct sections. Natural stone walls, adorned with captivating circular windows, were constructed to create a visually striking focal point while offering a seamless view towards the lower portion of the garden, where the cherished wisteria pergola remained.

This clever design approach ensured the preservation of a cherished element while integrating it flawlessly into the modern design.
